Introducing the Canon Rangefinders Primes, a distinctive and highly coveted set of lenses that we now have available for rent. These exceptional lenses were engineered by the legendary lens designer, Jirou Mukai, infusing them with a unique aesthetic and coherence that’s truly remarkable.
The set includes the iconic 50mm f/0.95 “Dream Lens”, a marvel of its time when it was unveiled in 1961. This lens is renowned for its warm imagery, extraordinary flares, and an exceptionally shallow depth of field that results in a singular, painterly bokeh.
Equipped with TLS rehousing, these lenses are prepared to excel even on the most demanding film sets. They feature 110mm fronts, matching gear positions, and new matte-finished 16 blade circular irises.
