OVERVIEW

The TLS Canon FD Primes are a set of vintage prime lenses from the 1970s that have been beautifully re-housed by True Lens Services in London. These lenses offer a unique combination of vintage vibes and modern performance, making them a secret weapon for creating amazing images.

What sets the Canon FD lenses apart is their stunning warm flares, beautiful bokeh, and soulful highlights.

Array of ranges

The set includes the iconic 50mm f/0.95 “Dream Lens”, a marvel of its time when it was unveiled in 1961. This lens is renowned for its warm imagery, extraordinary flares, and an exceptionally shallow depth of field that results in a singular, painterly bokeh.

Though it uses the breech-lock mount, it is not literally an FD lens since its diaphragm is operated manually and it must be used with stop-down metering.
